I have established a novel angiogenesis assay with human endothelial cells that allows me to rapidly screen for compounds that either enhance or inhibit angiogenesis. Identification of anti-angiogenesis agents in extracts of desert fungi and alternative medicines; role of matrix metalloproteinases in human angiogenesis and metastasis; development of in vitro models for the early stages of human angiogenesis
