Section of Surgical Research

The Section of Surgical Research supports and facilitates research and training within the Department of Surgery. While the programs are based within the Department of Surgery, there is extensive collaboration with the rest of the university and community at every level. The research programs are supported by the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and other recognized organizations and foundations, and in collaboration with private industry.
