Section of Urology
The Section of Urology in the University of
Arizona Department of Surgery provides excellent patient care,
outstanding education for residents and students, and an environment
that is conducive to improving the understanding of urologic disease
through research.

Each
of our faculty are especially trained to provide in depth and
expert treatment in the management of complex urologic disease.
Complete surgical services, including for disorders of the genitourinary
system, with special expertise in urologic cancers, pediatric
urology, urinary stone disease, urinary infections, impotence
and reconstructive surgery, newer treatments for prostate diseases,
abnormal bladder function, incontinence and complicated deformities
of the urinary system, are available through the Section of Urology.
Endourology includes ureteroscopic and percutaneous management
of kidney stones (nephrolithotomy) and laparoscopic surgery.
Several research studies make available new
and highly effective treatments for prostate cancer and urinary
incontinence. Also, the Section of Urology in the Department of
Surgery has established a premier minimally invasive surgery program.
