Section of Vascular Surgery
The Section of Vascular Surgery at The University
of Arizona Health Sciences Center provides the highest quality
of care in the management of vascular disorders, and is committed
to improving the understanding of vascular disease through medical
research.
Section surgeons manage all problems
of the circulatory system (arteries and veins outside the heart
and brain), from the simplest to the most complex, using both
advanced surgical and the full breadth of endoluminal techniques.
They are nationally recognized for their expertise, which spans
the full spectrum of vascular diseases including:
- cerebrovascular diseases
- aneurysmal and occlusive diseases
of the aorta
- peripheral occlusive disease for claudication and limb-threatening
ischemia
- acute and chronic mesenteric ischemia and renal artery stenosis
- permanent hemodialysis access
